Vehicle Description ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ORIGINAL ONE OWNER ALL ORIGINAL PAINT GARAGE KEPT TIME CAPSULE 560SL!!! All I can say is wow, this car is truly amazing and is the finest example I have seen in at least twenty years! A true one owner example bought new at Foley-Sweitzer Motor Sales in Marion, IL to the original owner who just recently sold it to us through one of our out of state contacts.
A true survivor all original car with all original paint as best I can tell through careful analysis by myself, my 20
year paint detail technician, and scientific device (Elcometer) confirming uniform paint thickness on all steel body panels (hood is aluminum and cannot be verified with the Elcometer) as shown in the photos.
In addition all body panels have matching original VIN stickers including the front and rear bumpers as shown in the detailed photos.
The top appears to be the original as well with all proper OEM M-B stamping, although the condition would almost lead me to believe it was brand new, as I haven't seen one as nice in years if ever.
I would guess it may have only been up a handful of times.
The windshield appears to be original with the original Daimler signature sticker in place.
The upper dash panel is free of any cracks and the sunvisors are both in excellent condition as shown.
The hood insulation pad has just been replaced and is in perfect condition as shown.
The underbody has no signs of serious corrosion on any of the frame or suspension components as you can see in the detailed photos including a very nice OE muffler.
The interior is just as you would expect and is super clean just as the rest of the car with no real wear to be found on the leather, super clean carpets with no signs of water damage, and even the original floor mats in excellent condition.
The original hard top is included and is in very good condition with only minor marks on the brightwork from storage and no damage to the paint or headliner.
There is a OE style wind deflector in place mounted to the convertible top shell and clips into place like a newer style SL car.
The car has all the correct original items a collector would look for including original spare wheel/tire that look to have never been used, tool kit, first aid kit in place, top tools, two original red dot alarm keys, original books and manuals in the original case, and original service booklet with all services stamped up to 53K miles in 1994.
The car has been stored most of the time in more recent years and has just been treated to a $5,000.
00 service with included receipt that included all new brake pads, rotors, calipers, and hoses all around, as well as a new fuel gauge sending unit and fluid flushes.
The car runs and drives amazing with no known issues to report and all major functions in proper working order including cold AC, cruise control, and power features.
The original radio was not producing sound so we had it professionally rebuilt completely by the Becker Audio specialists including the addition of Bluetooth streaming audio through the original radio with no additional hardware needed (super cool feature!)! The paint and body are in truly amazing original condition and has just been treated to a full professional paint correction and ceramic coating to keep the paint looking amazing for years to come with just simple maintenance.
The paint is overall in stunning condition with only a few minor touched up minor stone chips on the nose as you would expect, and a handful of touched up but somewhat noticeable marks from removal/installation of the hard top by the older previous owner as shown in the detailed photos.
Other than these few very minor items I have detailed, the paint is truly in absolutely amazing condition and is remarkably free of any real damage to disclose.
No noticeable door dings, deep scratches, or other issues that I could see to disclose.
The bumpers have an excellent finish with no pitting or chrome issues and the rubber parts are all in really good condition with no shrinking or deformation issues.
The car will come complete with all the items shown and described, including both keys, service receipt for work completed in June 2022 for $4,994.

Possibly the most original, best color, final year, well sorted, and original paint and body R107 SL available for sale that is still reasonably priced enough to take out and enjoy, plus a one owner clean Carfax history to boot.
